"I am a trained biologist who has been involved in palaeontology since my studies because I am fascinated by evolution and fossils. Even as a child, I tried to bring the people of my home village on the Croatian coast closer to the biodiversity on their doorstep. In recent years, I have studied prehistoric corals in Australia and been to the beach with schoolchildren to look for worms and crabs. I've been working at the UZH Science Lab since 2017 and I'm looking forward to exploring Switzerland's nature and helping to protect it."
